If I had been bold enough to walk around and ask 10 people, strangers and known alike, if they want me to be here among the living, I think the answers would work up an appetite both for food and life. If you need some kind of confirmation or substantiation, go get it! A life in doubt is a waste of time when the truth is to be found.
